783 Deconstructing the dermal adipogenesis program during skin development and regeneration

Dermal white adipose tissue (dWAT), a unique layer which is enriched with adipocytes, preadipocytes and adipocyte progenitors, indispensable for maintaining skin homeostasis regeneration during wound healing. However, the origin, developmental path cellular complexity plasticity of dWAT lineage cells remain poorly understood. Here, by single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) analyses dermal cell populations isolated from mice at various post-developmental ages or indicated post-wounding days, we have carried out in-depth analysis to define how adipocytes are differentiated their progenitors identify key signaling pathways that regulate adipogenesis. We identified dFB population hypodermal interstitial derived stem (HI-ADSC) in mouse skin, poised differentiate into preadipocyte lipid-laden an important source extracellular matrix development adult homeostasis.
